Editorial Standards
The operating doctrine behind every commander dossier.
1. Inclusion is editorial
Profiles are selected for educational relevance, audience demand, subject-matter reach, distinctive methodology, or market influence. Payment cannot purchase inclusion, placement, a favorable conclusion, or a higher ranking.
2. Evidence must be attributable
Factual claims should be supported by official channels, creator websites, published course pages, public interviews, documented product materials, or direct written clarification. Unverifiable performance claims are identified as claims rather than treated as established facts.
3. Analysis must be useful and proportionate
Reviews focus on educational utility: market coverage, framework clarity, risk treatment, intended audience, format, update cadence, pricing transparency, and limitations. Personal attacks, speculation about motives, and sensational teardown language are excluded.
4. Material connections are disclosed
Affiliate links, sponsorships, gifted access, paid placements, creator discounts, and other material connections are disclosed clearly beside the relevant link or recommendation. Commercial links use appropriate sponsored link qualification.
5. Editorial and commercial links are different
An ordinary editorial source link is not labeled sponsored merely because it points to a creator's YouTube channel or website. A link is classified as sponsored or affiliate only when a material commercial relationship exists.
6. Dossiers are dated and revisable
Every published dossier records a last-verified date. Reliable correction requests are reviewed, and material changes to products, pricing, channel ownership, or disclosed relationships can trigger an update.
7. No performance guarantee
Educational quality and public influence do not prove trading profitability. War Council profiles do not certify returns, verify private account statements, provide investment advice, or guarantee that a method will suit any reader.
